# Setup

The Affiliate Program allows creators, customers, and marketers to promote your products in exchange for a commission on successful referrals.

Once enabled, affiliates can apply to join your program, receive unique tracking links, and earn commissions when their referrals generate sales.

## **Enabling Your Affiliate Program**

Navigate to **Affiliate Program → Settings** and enable the program.

When enabled:

* Your public affiliate signup page becomes available.
* Applicants can submit requests to join your program.
* Approved affiliates receive access to referral links and performance tracking.

## Default affiliate program

The Default Affiliate Program serves as your baseline offer for anyone joining through your public affiliate page.

  For custom deal structures, you can build Private Affiliate Programs with tailored terms and commission rules, accessible exclusively via direct link.

## **Affiliate Signup Page**

Every store receives a unique affiliate application page.

Use the **Invite Link** to:

* Recruit affiliates directly.
* Share your program on social media.
* Add the link to your website or creator resources.
* Invite existing customers to become affiliates.

## **Commission Structure**

Choose how affiliates are rewarded for successful referrals.

### **Percentage Commission**

Affiliates earn a percentage of each qualifying sale.

**Example**

Product sells for \$100

* Affiliate earns \$20 (20%)
* Store owner receives \$80

### **Fixed Amount Commission**

Affiliates earn a fixed amount per sale regardless of product price.

**Example**

Product sells for \$100

* Affiliate earns \$10
* Store owner receives \$90

## **Minimum Payout**

Set the minimum earnings balance required before an affiliate becomes eligible for payout.

**Example**

Minimum payout: \$50

An affiliate must accumulate at least \$50 in approved commissions before funds can be released.

## **Cookie Duration**

Cookie duration determines how long Blink tracks a visitor after they click an affiliate link.

**Example**

Cookie duration: 30 days

If a visitor clicks an affiliate link and purchases within 30 days, the affiliate receives credit for the sale.

## **Automatic Approval**

Enable **Automatically approve new affiliates** if you want applicants to join instantly without manual review.

When disabled:

* Applications are placed into a pending state.
* You review and approve affiliates manually.

## **Application Questions**

Customize the application process by asking potential affiliates questions before approval.

Common examples include:

* How will you promote our products?
* Tell us about your audience.
* Share your website or social profiles.
* How did you hear about us?

Use these responses to identify high-quality affiliates and prevent abuse.
